Profil Asuransi Central Asia (ACA)

PT Asuransi Central Asia (ACA) ialah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang asuransi umum, yang berdomisili di Indonesia. Perusahaan ini didirikan pada tanggal 25 Agustus 1956, dengan nama awal yaitu Maskapai Asuransi Oriental NV. Dan pada tanggal 5 Agustus 1958, perusahaan ini jadinya mengubah namanya menjadi PT Asuransi Central Asia (ACA).

PT Asuransi Central Asia (ACA) awalnya memiliki kantor di Jalan Asemka no.28. Perusahaan ini kemudian beberapa kali berpindah tempat, hingga jadinya menetap di Wisma Asia (sejak 1998 hingga sekarang).

Pada tahun 2014, ACA sudah 58 tahun beroperasi di Indonesia. Perusahaan ini pun tercatat sudah memiliki 42 kantor cabang dan 23 perwakilan yang tersebar di seluruh Indonesia. Untuk jumlah karyawan, ACA sudah didukung oleh Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) berkualitas yang berjumlah 1.580 karyawan.

Sebagai salah satu perusahaan asuransi, ACA ialah salah satu perusahaan asuransi nasional dengan jumlah aset terbesar, dimana pada tahun 2014 asetnya mencapai Rp 8,865 triliun. Per Desember 2014 permodalan yang dimiliki ACA mencapai Rp 4.197 miliar dan nilai RBC (Risk Based Capital) per Desember 2014 ialah sebesar 182,45%, jauh melebihi batas minimal ketentuan pemerintah 120%. Tentunya data di atas menerangkan bahwa ACA ialah salah satu perusahaan asuransi terbesar di Indonesia.
