Whatsapp version

Finally, video calling feature rolled out to WhatsApp version 2.16.316 and higher. But the video calling feature will only work with the beta version of WhatsApp. So make sure you and your friends are using 2.16.316 version or higher for free video calling. Because video calling is only possible when both are using the same version. The video call features still on testing phrase. So if you and your friend using different versions of WhatsApp video calling will not work.

For the downloading beta version, you have to “become a tester”. To become a tester you have go to WhatsApp beta tester page and click on become a tester and unduh beta version.

Slow Internet speed Connection

Guys the biggest reason which doesn't allow you to do a video calling is a slow internet connection. If you have slow internet speed then you can’t do video calling. Because video call consumes more data than VoIP call. We all know the video calling feature is also new in WhatsApp. So we can’t expect high-quality optimization to video call with your slow and poor connection.

Even if your friend is using poor internet connection you will face this problem. So make sure you and your friend has a decent internet connection and make sure you are not downloading anything besides video calling. It will give enough speed to your video calling and expect the same from your friend.

Unsupported video calling phone

If your friend doesn't have front facing camera phone then you will not allow making video calling with him/her. So make sure your friend also has a decent video calling phone.
