The Indian government has announced the new USSD technology for sending and receiving money through and into your bank account. Now mobile banking will not require the internet. You just need a mobile and then can just type some USSD codes that’s it. You don’t need any e-wallet app.
Since the new currency notes came into our life. It became really harder to get new notes because of the rush of the people towards banks and ATMs. But our government is trying everything to stabilize the situation. A few weeks ago they have reduced the ATM limit to 2000 Rs and now they came with the new way to the cashless economy using our bank account and USSD Code technology.
This process will use your bank IFSC code or Aadhaar card number for generating a one-time password for confirming the payment. When you confirm the payment money will be deducted from your account and credit the money into the receiver bank account.

Downside of USSD transaction technology
It is important to know that once you transferred the money you cannot cancel the transaction. But on online banking, you can cancel the transaction right after you have transferred the money.How to use USSD for mobile banking
The first thing you have to do is registered yourself with mobile banking. Then open your dialer and type *99# and tap on the call button. Then just do what you want to do instruction will be available for you. Note: There is 5000 INR limit set by RBI which is enough for day to day life, so you can’t send and receive above 5000 Rs. There will be charges for every transaction made using this method. Charges will be vary from 0.5 rs to 1.5 rs.
