You can do changes correction and you can also apply for new PAN card. Because apply for new PAN card and changing some details in PAN has the same form which you have to fill up. So let’s see how we can do that.
There are two sites authorized by Indian income tax department UTI and NSDL. You can apply for new pan card from one of these sites.
Apply for New PAN card from NSDL website: Fill up Form 49A and submit
Apply for New PAN card from NSDL website: Fill up Form 49AA and submit
Changes / Correction in PAN card from UTI website: Fill up CSF form and submit
Changes / Correction in PAN card from NSDL website: Fill up CSF form and submit
Just fill up the form and upload copy of name proof, father name proof, date of birth proof, and your current pan card proof. You can submit a copy of your id proof in place of name proof, date of birth proof, father name proof because id proof has all these details. But in case you are changing your name then you have to submit your new name proof.
It will take up to 2 weeks to get your new and correct PAN card. you can also see the status of your PAN card from the websites and email that you will get when you apply for PAN card.
