How to Generate MMID for All Banks of India

In this post, we will learn how we can generate MMID for our banks. I have covered most of the popular banks in India from his post. now you can get your account MMID and transfer and request the money using NUUP service.

As we know we can mobile banking without the internet with USSD code using NUUP service. But this service we need to know our MMID and mPIN many users don't know what is MMID and what's mPIN. So let me tell you guys MMID means Mobile Money Identifier and MPIN is your password.

Note: Without Mobile banking, you can't generate MMID so you must activate your mobile banking for MMID and MPIN

When you activate your mobile banking using any method you will get your MMID and mPIN via SMS. So if you don't have mobile banking then make sure you activate your mobile banking and then try to generate your mobile MMID.

How to Generate MMID

Before generating your MMID you should know that you have to activate your mobile banking first. if your mobile banking is not active you can't generate MMID. Mostly when you activate your mobile banking you get your mMID and mPIN. But if you have active mobile banking but you don't know what is your MMID? so you can read the method for you bank to generate your MMID.

Generate MMID for SBI Bank

Option 1: Go to your SBI bank branch and ask them to generate your MMID.

Option 2: Visit SBI ATM, insert your ATM card and enter your 4 digit pin. Select MobReg > SMS Alert > 3D Secured Code > IMPS. Now enter your 10 digits mobile number. Then you will receive your MMID through SMS. You can also retrieve and cancel your MMID:

Optional services:
For Retrieval: send SMS MMID SBI to 9223440000
For Cancellation: send SMS MMIDCANCEL to 9223440000

Generate MMID for HDFC bank

Option 1: Use HDFC mobile banking app or login to m.hdfcbank.com on account section generate your MMID

Option 2: You can also generate your MMID from HDFC net banking.

Option 3: SMS by typing MMID and send it to 5676712

Generate MMID for ICICI

Option 1: You can generate MMID using ICICI mobile banking app iMobile on your mobile phone. Just open the app and Select Bank Account > Desired Account > Insta FT(IMPS) > Generate MMID. You will see your MMID there.

Option 2: SMS MMID <last 4 digits of your account number> and send it to 9222208888. For example MMID 1234

Option 3: Login to ICICIBank.com > Click on Generate / Retrieve MMID on your left-hand side menu bar. Now select the account and click on Generate / Retrieve MMID.

Generate MMID for PNB (Punjab National Bank)

PNB customers can generate MMID using net banking, mobile banking, and PNB ATM. Though you can also generate MMID by SMS by typing MMID and send it to 5607040.

Generate MMID for Union Bank of India

Option 1: Unduh UMobile and open it select Fund transfer > other banks > IMPS > know your MMID.

Option 2: SMS MMID and send it to 9223173921.

Generate MMID for Axis bank

SMS by writing MMID and send it to 5676782

Generate MMID for Canara Bank

Option 1: Generate using Canara bank mobile banking application

Option 2: SMS CANGENMMID UserID MPIN and send it to 5607060

Option 3: You can also visit Canra bank ATM and Select Mobile Registration > SMS > Secure Code  > IMPS > Enter your mobile number > Confirm > Select Funds Transfer > IMPS > Generate MMID.

Generate MMID for Bank of Baroda

Option 1: Using M-Connect App, Select IMPS > Generate MMID.

Option 2: SMS Type MMID and send it to 9223173928.

Generate MMID for Bank of India

If you activate your mobile banking you will get your MMID within 2 days of registration. Though if you have not received yet just follow option 1.

Option 1: Type MMID and send it to 9810558585

Generate MMID for Punjab and Sind Bank

Punjab and Sind bank users can only generate MMID using their mobile banking site https://www.psbmobile.com/mpaypsbwap/psb

Which is only accessible for active mobile banking users. If you don't have activated your mobile banking go to your bank branch. Because you can only activate your mobile banking from your account branch. 

Generate MMID for State Bank of Patiala

Option 1: Visit your branch and ask them to generate MMID for your mobile number. They will send your MMID on your mobile through SMS.

Option 2: Go to State Bank of Patiala ATM and insert your ATM card and enter your 4 digit PIN then select MobReg > SMS SMS Alert / 3DSecured Code / IMPS Then Enter your mobile number and confirm it. You will receive your MMID via SMS.

For retrieval, MMID Send - SMS MMID SBP to 9223440000
For retrieval, MMID for specific account - SMS MMID SBP Account Number to 9223440000
For cancellation of MMID - SMS MMIDCANCEL SBP to 9223440000 
For cancellations MMID for specific account - SMS MMIDCANCEL SBP Account Number to 9223440000

Generate MMID for Dena Bank

Sorry, but there is not a direct method for Dena bank customers. they can only generate MMID using mobile banking and internet banking. So just activate one of these services and generate your MMID using that.

Mobile Banking: You can generate MMID after registering and activating your mobile banking. You can do that by sending SMS by typing DMD Account No send it to 9223175152

Internet Banking: You can also generate MMID by internet banking. If your internet banking is not activated  you can activate it by sending an SMS DIB Account No to 9223175152

If you have active mobile banking you can retrieve your MMID by Sending SMS MMID to 9223175152

For cancellation, Send SMS MMIDCANCEL to 9223175152

Generate MMID for Indian Overseas Bank

Type MMID and send it to +919551099007

Generate MMID for Syndicate Bank

You have two ways to generate your MMID using mobile banking app and SMS.

Option 1: SMS MMID and it to send to 9870900876

Option 2: You can also use syndicate mobile banking app and know your MMID under IMPS > other Bank menu.

Generate MMID for UCO Bank

Download UCO mBanking application and select Fund transfer > Other bank

Then select Interbank Mobile Payment System and tap on Generate MMID

Enter you mPIN and select the account you want to link with MMID

That's it then you will see your MMID on your screen.

Generate MMID for Kotak Mahindra Bank

Option 1: SMS K MMID last 4 digits of your account number to 9971056767 or 5676788

Option 2: Use Mobile banking app and go to IMPS > View MMID

Option 3: You can also call customer care to get your MMID

Generate MMID for Indian Bank

SMS MMID A/c no and send it to 9444394443

Generate MMID for Bank of India

Type MMID and send it to 9810558585

Generate MMID for Central Bank

Option 1: You can use mobile banking app and get your MMID

Option 2: SMS MMID and send it to 9967533228

Generate MMID for IDBI Bank

Option 1: Go to https://mremit.idbibank.co.in and enter your Customer ID and login password then just select view MMID.

Option 2: SMS MMID to 5676777

Generate MMID for Catholic Syrian Bank

Your MMID and mPIN will come on your mobile via SMS when you register your mobile banking. for registering mobile banking, you have two options.

Option 1: go to your bank branch and fill the application form of mobile banking. After submitting the form your mobile banking will be activated within 24 hours and you will receive your MMID and mPIN

Option 2: visit nearest ATM of your bank insert your ATM card and enter your pin. Then select Services > Mobile registration after confirming your number. Your mobile number will be linked to your bank and mobile banking.

Generate MMID for Corporation Bank

You have to visit your bank branch and then they will give you a form. Just fill it up and submit then you will receive MMID via SMS.

Generate MMID for Karnataka Bank

Every mobile banking registered user will get their MMID and MPIN via SMS. Now supose you want to retrieve the MMID. Just SMS “MMID” to 9880654321.
