1. Why 500 and 1000 notes are banned?

There are many reasons to ban the old 500 and 1000 notes. The biggest reason is corruption whether it's fake 500 and 1000 notes or black money.

As you always see whenever you give 500 or 1000 note to any shop they used to check the note first before accepting your money. Although it is not easy to detect the difference between real and fake note. These fake notes are used for anti-nation activities like terrorism. The country like Pakistan sends fake currency to their terrorist to continue what they are doing in Kashmir.

Hoarding black money, many Indians don’t like to disclose their money so they never deposit the amount to the bank. They keep the money in their house and save the tax and Government of India lose the tax. They hold billion of rupees in their house to save the million rupees tax.

2. Why new 2000 rs note introduced instead of new 1000 note?

The cost of making 1000 rs note was 3 rs and 2000 note will also print at the same price. So instead of printing 2 1000 note for 6 rs, one 2000 rs note at 3 rs will save 3 rs of India.
