2 Rockets Hit from Syria to Israel


Tel Aviv - 2 Rockets Hit from Syria to Israel. Tensions between Israel and Syria is increasing. Two rockets fired from Syria and fell in the Israeli-occupied Golan Height. There were no casualties in the attack that occurred a few days after Israeli air raid into Syria.


Israeli military spokesman said the rockets fell and exploded in a field that is near the ceasefire line in the southern Golan. It is not known exactly who launched the rocket.

As reported by AFP on Tuesday (07/05/2013), Israeli rockets suspect is related to the situation that is happening in Syria. Israel believes, is not targeted directly rockets into its territory.

"The Israeli military rocket combing the crash site and notify the existing UN force in Golan," said Israeli military spokesman who declined to be named such.

The rocket attack comes amid rising tensions between the two countries, especially after the Israeli air strikes into the area of Damascus, Syria on Friday (3/5) and Sunday (5/5) yesterday.

Syria accused Israel blatant declaration of war against him intentionally. Syria will affirm even counterattacked.

Responding to the statement of Syria, Israel has not formally confirmed the air strikes carried out by him. Although senior Israeli lawmaker, Tzachi Hanegbi has commented on the issue.
